We have a great chat about the state of Canada (no pun intended), Post National non identity Canada and how that is looking, Canada as the 51st state, Oil exports and refining, Canadians and their....
The fact that you have the relationship you do with England, and England has said nothing about the possible merger or takeover of your country by the US, says it all. The sun never sets on British soil and yet they’re going to let one of their biggest cash cows go? I don’t know why it doesn’t terrify people to think that all of these countries are going to merge and the very real dangers of that. For example, if all of these massive countries merge, Canada, US and Mexico, and you decide you want to escape… How exactly do you accomplish that? And where do you go? You’re going to drive for days or weeks and actually make it out? Is it good to have one Grocery Store? In your entire country? The more they merge, the easier we are to herd and control. Even if the whole New World Order wasn’t a thing, it’s a terrible idea to have countries that large for a MYRIAD of reasons. Exactly what problems does this solve other than kicking the can down the road? Absolutely blows my mind that people just seem so shortsighted about this. They would not be doing it if it was going to benefit Joe Schmoe, so… who benefits? And since when can an American president just single-handedly decide this is what we’re going to do? I live here. I do not consent to joining with other countries. How many people in Canada are still even Canadian? The United States doesn’t need any more foreigners changing our culture, bringing in crazy ideas, sucking off of us and bringing nothing. It seems like very few people are assessing the realities of this. Once again, people are caught up with the excitement and distraction of more drama on the world stage and engaging in magical thinking that this is actually being considered to improve their life. It could not be further from the truth.
Canada is BER - Beyond Economical Repair though. Sure those are risks... but we don't see it getting any better up here. They want us poor and destroyed and split up anyways. If States had more power within a bigger system like the USA - it seems to me that might be a better option for another decade or two. After that all bets are off no matter what.
Get me to past 2046 and the potential global catastrophe without going hungry - It's all coming crashing down sooner than later anyway IMO. Canada is already collapsing.

Some great points. Thanks for the note.
